RMTS 2007 - Day 4 - Bhadrak

This is day 4 of campaign for RMTS 2007, to be conducted for the 5th consecutive year.

Blocks covered: 314
No of centers: 1 or more per center
Participation: 125 per block(40 thou)
Scholarships: 201

Date of Test: 11th November, 2007

Last date of Application: 10/10/2007 (October10, 2007)

Camp Plans:
6 camps for each batch. 1st batch (RMTS 2003) camps completed.

Math Olympiad Successes thus far:

Himalaya Senapati of RMTS 2003 and Bhadrak district has been selected in to the short list(30) for Indian Math Olympiad team. Out of them 6 will be selected and sent abroad.

Participation increased from 2 blocks, 78 students to 4 blocks & 271 students.

Blocks Covered: Bhadrak, Bonth

Centres : 4

No. of Students : 271

Blocks to be covered: 5 (Basudevpur, Bhandaripokhari, Chandbali, Dhamnagar, Tihidi ).

We have to find why Basudevpur dropped out last year and if they can be revived.

I have provided the e-address of Bhadrak Block Development Officers and you can write to them and liaison with them if you are or have a friend or relative, in that area.

I would appreciate if you write back to me and extend help by taking responsibility of one of 314 blocks, even if they are covered, or any way you like to contribute, so that we can run a quality RMTS 2007 truly unearthing rural talents, who otherwise will wither away.
