It is already a 6 year old operation.

Dear Friends:
This is day 20 of campaign for AWARENESS FOR RMTS 2008, to be conducted for the 6th consecutive year.
Date of Test: 2nd November, 2008

Last date of Application: October 1, 2008

Achievements up to RMTS 2007:

RMTS 2005: Blocks covered: 58 No of centers : 81 Participation: 4678 Scholarships: 165

RMTS 2006 Blocks covered: 162 No of centers: 280 Participation: 19928 Scholarships: 201

RMTS 2007 Blocks covered: 200 No of centers: 354 Participation: 18887 Scholarships: 201

Blocks covered: 314
No of centers: 500
Participation: 125 per block(40 thou<) Scholarships: 201

Camp Plans:
6 camps for each batch. 1st batch (RMTS 2003) camps completed. The 1^st batch kids have reached 10^th grade and will be out of secondary schools, in 2008.
Math Olympiad Successes thus far:

Himalaya Niranjan Senapati of RMTS 2003 and Bhadrak district was selected for the Indian Astronomy Olympiad team. He went to Simeiz, Crimea, Ukraine in Europe and earned a silver medal. We are exited and we hope this tradition will continue

For this district we need help as 2 blocks(BORIGUMA, LAMTAPUT) have never been covered and three(BAIPARIGUDA, JEYPORE, SEMILIGUDA) we held one year and lost:

Total Number of Blocks in Koraput: 14(Fourteen)

RMTS 2005: Blocks Covered: 1 JEYPORE Centres: 1 No. of Students 60

RMTS 2006: Blocks Covered: 6 BAIPARIGUDA, JEYPORE, KORAPUT, LAXMIPUR, NANDAPUR, SEMILIGUDA Centres : 10 No. of Students : 404

RMTS 2007: Blocks Covered:9 , BANDHUGAON, DASAMANTHPUR, KORAPUT, KOTPAD, KUNDRA, LAXMIPUR, NANDAPUR, NARAYANPATNA, POTTANGI. Centres: 12 No. of Students : 783

Blocks to be covered: 5

(BORIGUMA, LAMTAPUT, BAIPARIGUDA, JEYPORE, SEMILIGUDA)

We lost three blocks BAIPARIGUDA, JEYPORE, SEMILIGUDA and gained SIX(BANDHUGAON, DASAMANTHPUR, KOTPAD, KUNDRA, NARAYANPATNA, POTTANGI)

We have to find contacts in BORIGUMA, LAMTAPUT & RECONNECT WithBAIPARIGUDA, JEYPORE, SEMILIGUDA for full coverage of Koraput District in 2008. Any help WELCOME.
